Opening Many Hat's fifth season will be Neil Simon's heartwarming comedy Lost in Yonkers. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award, this memory play is set in Yonkers New York in 1942. Ne'er do well Eddie deposits his two young sons on his mother's doorstep while he hits the road to find his fortune. The boys are left to contend with their overbearing German Grandmother, their aunt Bella and her secret romance, their uncle Louie a small-time hoodlum and life above Kurnitz Kandy Store.  Lost in Yonkers will be directed by Vernon's Monty Hughes and will run from February 2 to 25.

The South Okanagan Victim Assistance Society will pay homage to the great disco music of the 1970's with SOVAS Goes Disco fundraiser. The event will include a dance contest for couples and soloists, prizes for best disco costume, Hustle lessons, a performance by the Penticton School of Dance and celebrity judges including Krystal Garib, who has performed on Broadway.
